Abstract Requirements

The quality of your research is reflected in a well conceived abstract so try to keep in mind that you are expected to give clear and specific information on your study.

The abstracts will be in competition for the Best Abstract Award .

To assure an efficient and satisfactory selection of scientific papers and to avoid editing differences between published abstracts, it is necessary that you comply with the requirements below. Abstracts not fulfilling these criteria will be sent back to the authors for modifications.

  • All abstracts must be written in English (please make sure your abstract has no spelling or grammar mistakes)
  • The maximum number of characters is set by default in the "SEND ABSTRACT" form from the Users Area.
  • Contractions of words are allowed only if explained (in brackets) after their first use
  • No bibliographic reference will be added to your abstract

All abstracts must be written in the following format:

  1. Introduction: Give the information needed to present the background of your research and state clearly the objective of your study.
  2. Materials and methods: Describe the design of your scientific approach, including the materials used, the method and the statistical criteria applied.
  3. Results: State briefly the findings revealed by your study.
  4. Conclusion: Describe the outcome of your study in relation to the background and objective presented in the introduction.
  5. Key Words: add 2-5 key words of your abstract.

A very important aspect taken into consideration while evaluating your abstract would be the originality and innovation brought to the field of interest. Make sure that the conclusions stated are consistent with your study design and valid.
