This year, Medicalis plans to apply the same policy as last year and attract young researchers of the medical field with a scientific programme focused on various themes and innovative subjects. Participants will be able to attend lectures sustained by our special invitees from the international scientific arena and from the Romanian bio-medical field. More interactive activities will be offered in our workshops that give the opportunity to share ideas and interests and to enrich practical skills of certain research areas. Our team is continuously working to ensure an attractive and useful scientific programme for promising future doctors and scientists participating in Medicalis 2012. The MEDICALIS 2012 WORKSHOPS: Number of participants:12 Program: 09:00 – 11:00 – First Session theoretical presentations 11:00 – 11:15 – Coffee break 11:15 - 12:45 – Second Session practice : knots 12:45 – 13:00 – Coffee break 13:00 – 15:00 – Third Session practice: sutures This workshop will give the participants the opportunity to learn and practice the fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery. Brief workshop description: The aim of this workshop is to develop theoretical knowledge and practical abilities in the management of the traumatised patient from the health care professional point of view. The workshop will consist of two days training and an outdoor simulation of a car accident with multiple victims. The workshop is suitable for anyone interested in emergency medicine, traumatology and intensive care, as well as for any health care professional who might be, at some point, in the situation of providing first aid before the arrival of the rescuers.
