About medicalis

Medicalis is one of the best scientific congresses for medical students and young doctors in Romania. It is organized by the Medical Students’ Organization from Cluj (OSM) in collaboration with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu Hatieganu” Cluj-Napoca (UMF) and gives you the chance to take part in a scientific manifestation of very good quality.

During our social program you will have the chance to interact and change opinions and ideas with other participants and our special guests from Romania and abroad.

The event sustains and encourages scientific research among medical students and young doctors by organizing a scientific paperwork competition where they can present the results of their research. There are three oral presentation sections (Fundamental sciences, Medical sciences and Surgical sciences) and a poster presentation section. In addition to these sessions, Medicalis offers workshops and lectures on subjects covering different areas of interest held by experienced speakers. As a special feature, this year we have added a  Clinico-Pathological Cases section that puts the participant`s diagnostic aptitudes to the test.

This year’s Medicalis will reach the 11th national edition and 6th edition of international participation. With every year our congress brings more participants and better scientific papers. Last year the event was accredited by the National College of Doctors with 18 hours of medical continuous education.
